At Schou-Danielsen Logistik A/S, we provide next-day delivery of goods throughout Denmark. We are co-owners of Dansk Distribution together with good, solid, local Danish hauliers. SDL operates on the principle of “more than transport”. This principle means, among other things, that we have time for you.

We have full control of all services related to the delivery of goods – from collection to delivery. You can track your shipment from collection to delivery, and we offer a range of additional services if you need more than A-to-B transport – that is what we call “more than transport”.

At SDL, you can book us yourself free of charge in Online Book. All you need is to have a user created. If you would like this, please contact us. You will also receive guidance on how to use the system.

A further advantage of choosing SDL as your preferred haulier in Denmark is the option to have our booking system integrated directly into your ERP. This gives you and your employees benefits and leads to efficiency gains, as you can pull information from the ERP system into the bookings.

At SDL, we continuously scan goods at colli level throughout transport. These scans form the basis for the data that you, as a customer, can see in our track and trace system.

To view your track and trace information, you simply need either the consignment note number or the reference number for your goods.

Sustainability in a transport company

As a transport company in Denmark, we know that we must take good care of the environment while carrying out our tasks, which include delivering goods to shops so they have something on the shelves for Danes.

SDL is aware of its environmental responsibility and continuously measures things such as fuel consumption and idling on our lorries. And we consolidate deliveries and run with fully loaded vehicles.

This is done to optimise the use of the vehicles and, not least, to emit as little CO2 as possible.

In addition, a large part of our lorries are fitted with the so-called V-spoiler, developed by NASA itself.

Why?

Because it helps reduce fuel consumption and lowers wind resistance. All in all, this provides both fuel savings of up to 5% and lower CO2 emissions.

All SDL’s lorries meet Euro standard 6. This is the highest environmental standard for diesel vehicles. It means lower emissions, which allows us to deliver in all environmental zones in Denmark.

Courier services for urgent tasks

As one of many Danish hauliers, we continuously experience that urgent situations can arise, creating a need for lightning-fast delivery.

In these situations, we of course also offer courier and hourly driving.

You can use this service to great advantage when it really is urgent and you have a “rush job”.
