Euro Standard 6 is the standard at Schou-Danielsen Logistik

Our modern vehicles meet Euro Standard 6, a standard that reduces emissions of harmful pollutants such as nitrogen oxides and particulates. Euro Standard 6 is the highest environmental standard for diesel vehicles. SDL only has vehicles that, at a minimum, comply with this standard. In 2025, SDL put its first electric truck into operation.

Sustainable transport at SDL

We are aware that sustainability is about more than just technological standards. That is why, at SDL, we have taken a number of practical steps to optimise our logistics. By monitoring fuel consumption, tyre pressure and reducing idling, we minimise our CO2 emissions. An important technology we use is the V-Spoiler on several of our trucks. This solution was developed by NASA and reduces wind resistance, leading to fuel savings of 3–5%.
