You book the transport day-to-day, we collect the goods, and as a rule they are delivered the next weekday. This makes the solution suitable for businesses where goods continuously need to move from warehouse, production or supplier and on to customers across Denmark.

SDL handles, among other things, pallets, general cargo and parcels. If your delivery has special requirements, the transport can be supplemented with relevant services.

How day-to-day delivery works

  1. You book the transport
    Create the shipment in SDL Online Book or contact our dispatch department.
  2. We collect the goods
    The goods are collected at the agreed address and enter our distribution flow.
  3. You can track the shipment
    The goods are scanned along the way, so both you and SDL can track the transport from collection to delivery.
  4. The goods are delivered
    With standard day-to-day delivery, the goods are collected on one weekday and delivered the next.

SDL has its base and terminal in Odense and works every day with distribution in Odense and across the rest of Funen.

When you book with SDL, you get access to Track & Trace. The shipment is provided with a label with a barcode and is scanned several times throughout the transport process.

This allows you to track the goods, and at the same time it gives SDL a better basis for responding if questions or deviations arise along the way.

In Online Book, after delivery you can also find documentation for the completed shipment.

Some deliveries can be handled with a standard day-to-day solution. Others require special equipment, handling or a specific delivery time.
